MOPS

If You're a Mother of Preschoolers, You've Got Your Hands Full...

We Know How You Feel. Occasionally, Every Mom Needs A Break.

Join us this year, to hear inspiring speakers, connect with other moms, and have fun with creative activities as we strive to create the kind of home that our families can spread there wings in! Our homes are a central part of our everyday lives and must be safe places - physically and also emotionally. In them we bond, we eat and play and rest together, we decorate and provision our special home spaces. The MOPS 2007 theme, The HOME factor: BEGIN HERE... GO THERE enriches our perspective and hones our abilities to create a cocoon of home.

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. It's a program designed to nurture mothers with children from birth to kindergarten and expectant mothers too!

When do we meet?
Our daytime group meets the first and third Thursdays of the month from 8:45-11 a.m. at the SH Civic Center.

What do we do?
We have fun creative activities, brunch or light dinner, door prizes, encouraging messages, and great discussions with other moms! We also have monthly Mom's Night Out, and special family events throughout the year.

What is a Moppet?
During the MOPS meeting, our children are cared for in a program called MOPPETS, where they enjoy stories, crafts, snacks, and playtime.
